Qualifications & Education
Tara is a fully licensed and insured Chartered Physiotherapist with current membership of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists. She completed her BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy Degree in Queen Margaret College, Edinburgh before working in an Irish hospital followed by private practice in Australia after which she went on to obtain a Master’s Degree in Sports Medicine in Trinity College Dublin.
Experience & Interests
Tara has more than 20 years experience in private practice whilst retaining a strong commitment to continuing education.
She has also over 20 years experience teaching Pilates and is a Stott Qualified Pilates instructor teaching individual and small group classes. Tara is also a certified yoga alliance instructor.
Tara has gained further education in teaching special groups such as women’s health, osteoporosis, work place ergonomics and Pilates for sport. She is also qualified and certified to perform Dry Needling.
Tara has always had a great interest in Sport and worked with many teams including current involvement with rugby and tennis. She has a keen interest in Occupational health and is qualified and experienced in work station assessment. These assessments and the treatment of work related injuries has been part of Tara’s work for the last 10 years.
